Asset Data Officer – Infrastructure Assets
Sydney, South West & M5 Corridor
Seeking several Asset Data Officers for temporary full time roles commencing immediately.
Working for an Asset & Design team for a large SW Sydney based Council, the Asset Data Officer will be responsible for implementing and conducting asset management processes, using the latest technology to carry out inspections and condition assessments, in addition to working as part of the team to assist in the preparation of reports and works programs for maintenance and renewal.
Tasks for this position are:
- Continual updating of the Asset Management System by data entry of information into Excel templates and uploading relevant information into the system where required
- Performing onsite data collection to assess asset condition and defects or works completion
- Assisting the asset management team by completing any other tasks to ensure Council meets the EOFY deadlines
Suitable applicants will have relevant experience and qualifications. Some degree of experience in asset management and knowledge of infrastructure assets such as roads, bridges, footpath, drainage, buildings, recreation and open spaces assets is required.
Ability to carry out site and field inspections including extensive walking in various terrains and locations, in addition to mobility around construction sites, buildings, bridges, stormwater drainage assets and in and out of plant and/or vehicles is additionally required. Current Class C Licence essential.
