Description
Seeking candidates for multiple roles covering various shifts (24/7) for a large medical device manufacturing facility.
The positions will be responsible for providing breakdown and preventative maintenance as well as mechanical system setup activities of Moulding machines, robot, tools, and other equipment in support of LSR Manufacturing Department
Duties will include:
- Perform breakdown and preventative maintenance activities for Production equipment.
- Document/record all maintenance activities as required for Production equipment.
- Comply with all standard maintenance and operating procedures, GMP, 5s and Health & Safety policies.
- Promote a safe working environment by following Health and Safety guidelines as well as implementing & closing out actions for the continual improvement of work place safety.
- Contribute to Continuous Improvement activities to change or adapt existing maintenance methods and/or schedules so as to be more efficient.
- Provide support to other departments to ensure that new projects/equipment are delivered, installed and maintained on time and to the highest standard.
- Perform other tasks as required.
Candidates requirements are as follows:
- Strong hands-on skills in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, and Pneumatic devices and systems and ability to read and interpret electromechanical drawings.
- Experience in performing preventative maintenance activities on equipment.
- Good communication skills (written & verbal), adaptable to change and ability to build strong working relationships.
- Good understanding of computer systems (MS Office, Oracle).
- Ability to work in a fast moving and demanding team environment.
- Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously.
- Proactively self-manage and complete work to the highest standards and in a timely manner. Required
- 2 years’ experience performing maintenance activities on equipment.
- Degree or relevant trade certificate (e.g. electrical, mechanical).
Preferred
- Experience working in a high volume manufacturing facility within the medical device industry.
